SPRING SALE: Receive $100 Off Per Container
Aad Storm has never been afraid to follow his heart or think outside the box. An innovative digital marketer and experienced executive in the shipping container industry, he embraced the dynamics of change, understanding that it was often the catalyst for growth and progress. So, when Aad Storm envisioned a more efficient, transparent, and sustainable container trading industry he assembled a likeminded team to launch Eveon – An innovative customer-centric, cost-effective, 100% digital business that only sells decommissioned containers.
A disrupter in the container business, Eveon repurposes only used containers online with a no-haggle pricing structure and automated delivery options. Offering competitive prices, and full transparency allows the acquisition of a container to be as seamless as picking, paying, and preparing for delivery.
The founder of the eco-friendly business is as passionate about the planet as Eveon’s customers. Aad Storm a musician by night, and entrepreneur by day, witnessed the lack of customer interaction among growing companies. Dissatisfied by the business trend, he rallied a talented team with the goal to launch a global container company that is tech, planet, and human-friendly.
Now two years later, amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Eveon Containers has operations in Germany and North America, with more countries to follow. Confirming Storm’s instincts that the market was ready for change and that an ecommerce platform could be both beneficial for the customer and the environment.
Eveon’s passion for operating a sustainable start-up is as palatable and sincere as its appreciation for its product and customers. “To weather the seas in stormy conditions, a container must be strong. Navigating the ups and downs of launching a company during Covid, challenged us to be as tough as a container and progressive enough to see the next wave coming. Our team and business insights are much stronger for enduring both.”
Along with reducing the world's Co2 Emissions and remaining malleable, accountability and transparency are vital to the Dutch company’s day-to-day culture.
“If it’s broke, we fix it. If the delivery isn’t perfect, we own it. Customer service and container life are top priorities. Understanding that the elements can be harsh for some containers, it was imperative for Eveon to offer a 100% guarantee on all containers sold. Transparency from price to delivery is beneficial to our clients, team, and the truckers we work with. Eveon appreciates that in both life and work - time is a commodity. Like a natural resource, we really don’t want to waste it. This human-centric and transparent way of thought is not an industry norm, but then again, neither are we.”
The COR-TEN metal shipping container, invented in 1956 by American trucker Malcom Mclean was designed as a wind & watertight shipping vessel to easily move goods. Generally ignored as they rumble down the highway, for the Eveon team and their CEO, the container is a tangible object with a soul and purpose. Each product sold is an opportunity for a customer to launch a business, build a home, save money on storage, or ship the products that were once in their dreams too.
“In the last two years, our talented team of digital solutions experts has produced a reliable and easy e-commerce platform. Eveon’s process is working, and our customers are happy. We are really excited about what the future entails for the company. As we adapt to feedback, listen to the needs of our trucking partners, and stay open to the customers' imagination, we forge ahead with optimism. Our promise is that we will continue to look for, and improve inefficiencies in the business model, reduce shipping times, and enhance the Eveon customer experience. Allowing our customers more time to think outside the box too…”
