SPRING SALE: Receive $100 Off Per Container
Space is typically an unoccupied continuous area waiting to be filled with energy, creativity, purpose and sometimes just stuff. Often considered a commodity similar to time, space can be truly sacred and in some busy cities really hard to find. For Konnekted - a new modern-day coworking space in West Hills, CA - shopping centers (and shipping containers) serve as a blank canvas for entrepreneurs and creatives where ideas can flourish and connections thrive.
Born from necessity and evolved during the pandemic, Konnekted reflects Founder and CEO Nickolaus Violin’s mission to create a working experience tailored to today’s workforce. Opening in early 2025, the 20,000-square-foot space is designed to inspire productivity, collaboration, and balance. Packed with amenities like private offices, meeting rooms, podcast studios, on-site childcare, a fitness center, and a café for hourly drop-ins, Konnekted is set to be a comprehensive workspace solution for modern professionals.
Born and raised in a family of multi-generational entrepreneurs, Nickolaus often bounced from coffee shop to coffee shop, experiencing the discomforts of working from stiff wooden chairs in loud unwelcoming sterile environments. When exploring the existing flex working spaces around Los Angeles, he was equally disappointed with their limited membership plans. Traditional coworking payment structures, with their inflexible membership plans, were unrealistic for entrepreneurs and creatives like him who needed flexibility to adapt to changing project demands and budgets.
With a forward-thinking approach, he pioneered the concept of transforming bustling shopping centers into vibrant workspaces, catering to the evolving needs of the modern workforce. By leveraging these high-traffic locations, he aimed to boost productivity and convenience for employees, while also revitalizing the way people work and interact.
The first Konnekted workspace with 42 private offices, will open in West Hills, CA and include six meetings spaces, podcast & photo studios, a fitness center, showers, Mother’s Room, café & more.
When it came to addressing temporary storage needs during the final stages of development, Konnekted turned to Eveon Containers. Known for their eco-friendly and affordable solutions, Eveon’s decommissioned shipping containers provided an ideal solution for storing furniture, equipment, and supplies. The containers are wind & watertight, ensuring secure and durable storage on-site.
“We shopped around, but the combination of competitive pricing, Trustpilot reviews, and an intuitive website made Eveon Containers the clear choice,” explains Nickolaus.
Nickolaus’s story is a testament to innovation born from necessity. By transforming vacant spaces within shopping centers into future bustling coworking hubs, Konnekted not only revitalizes unoccupied spaces but also creates a ripple effect of sustainability and community building. Collaborating with eco-conscious partners like Eveon Containers further solidifies this commitment.
As Konnekted prepares to welcome its first wave of entrepreneurs and creatives next year, the role of adaptable, sustainable solutions like Eveon’s storage containers demonstrates the potential of thoughtful business strategies to make a lasting impact.
